Saint Francis Church is situated in the centre of the village within walking distance for most parishioners. It celebrated the tenth anniversary of its rebuilding in November 2011. The building is a modern, wooden structure of Scandinavian design.
The space inside the church was designed to be used in a flexible way with movable chairs and a stage. There is a sound system with induction loop. The church is adjoined by the Christabella Wing which acts as a Church Hall and meeting and eating place for many church activities. It is owned by The Christabella Trust, a local charitable trust, and is dedicated for church and community use with the PCC accepting responsibility for management and maintenance.
